Dear Laralee,
Thank you so much for all of the hospitality. You have a wonderful place here. We are sure to come back. This place made my brother's graduation even a nicer one, as my Mom was able to fix his favorite foods before he gets shipped out to his next assignment. Thank you again and God Bless you and your family. Sincerely,
The Somg Family This home was by
far the best part of staying in San Antonio. It was perfect and I
felt so well taken care of. I wish I could transport this pink
house back to CT! My cat would look so great sitting on the queen
bed! It will be missed.
Thank you for making my stay so comfortable. With warmest regards,
Maripat Goodwin A very comfortable,
convenient house. Much better than a hotel. Nice place to
come home to after a day of sight seeing.
Great job of making it comfortable and homey. Sincerely,
Donna & Dan Princetown, MA "Cape Cod" Oh, where to
begin? What a wonderful, fun time we had. Scenic excursions
into the Hill Country, "touristy" trips downtown and to the Mercado,
Rodeo, and shopping, shopping, shopping. How nice to have "our"
homey pink house to come home to and rest and relax and get ready for
another day. We are so sad to be leaving San Antonio and "our"
little pink house. Many thinks for helping us to have such a
fantastic time in your home, in your beautiful city.
Bless you!
Just an addition: I love your
home! You've made it so that I felt it was my home for a short
while. If I return to S.A., and I certainly hope to, I would want
to stay here again...Thanks so much for your generosity!
Dan, Judy, & Duane,Sally N. Laralee,
We had a wonderful
time here. The house was beautifully decorated and spacious
enough for everyone to spread out. The neighborhood was friendly
and inviting. The kids, who are big fans of the NachoLibre movie,
got to see an actual wrestling match on Sunday evening. Also, the
nearby park was perfect to run off some extra steam that the Zoo and
Riverwalk didn't zap.
Lastly, we can't begin to tell you how wonderful the on-demand water heater was. With two teenage girls it managed to keep peace in the house. Also, thank you for your concise directions to the grocery stores, Theme parks and riverwalk center. They were indispensable to us as we navigated the city. Thanks again!
Ann Davis We (Princesses Maddie and Talia) are
awesome! So is the house! See we have something in common
already! :- )
Laralee,
Thank you for the beautiful house - it has such warmth! We had a great time at Seaworld - the rain held off till the end of the day The riverwalk was great, really beautiful, we took the boat cruise and explored a lot of the area. End of the week and we finally know our way around! Saw the Alamo - was very interesting and it was the best day to go during spring break! The Women of Faith Conference at the Alamo dome was fabulous! The speakers were worth the tickets! God bless you and thank you again!
Alison Laralee,
What a beautiful house, you've done a very nice job - felt right at home. Wish we had a vacation house of our own like this one. It has been a very busy week, but we have enjoyed all of it (except the getting lost part) but actually even that was humorous. It was great to see Zachary, our son, and partake in the whole graduation process that the Air Force provided. he ships out Monday to Shepard Air Force Base. We have been to Riverwalk earlier in the week, but going back today and will also visit the Alamo. The whole trip has been most enjoyable and a good part of it has been due to your most gracious "hospitality" Thank you so much for everything.
Hope to return sometime in the future Marlene & Paul Loved your house...convenient to
everywhere. We have done so much around the area and it is nice
to have a place to call home each night, to relax after a long
day. Enjoyed the Quarry golf course...unfortunately the course
won! Took in a Spurs game...they won, of course. Went to
the Capitol in Austin and drove around. West Lake to see how the "other
half " lives...they're doing OK ! Also, drove to Corpus
Christi. Enjoyed walking along the beach and the docks and
key! We went to the first Whataburger for a cup of coffee and
apple crisp.
Our favorite, of course the the Riverwalk, that we took in three or four times. Fun to people watch and got plenty of exercise. Needless to say we had a great time and your place topped off the enjoyment. Thank you for everything
Pat and Woody Our 14 year old son
loved having his own room and our 7 year old daughter loved having a
PINK house. She now owns a pink cowgirl hat. It was so easy
to refer to this place as "home" while we were out sightseeing.
We came "home" for lunch because it was so close to everything.
We did all the missions and found some hidden letterboxes--like a treasure hunt. (see www.letterboxing.org) Rode up the tower, shopped La Villita, enjoyed the Riverwalk repeatedly and did a narrated boat ride. Visited the Buckhorn Saloon and Museum. Maybe next time there will be water at the Japanese Tea Garden! King William Street, historic houses are beautiful This house is great and so roomy for a vacation. Maybe if you ever get to Ohio, you can stay in one of our cabins in Hocking Hills! The Poyers
This was our first opportunity to get together as a family since my husband was I returned home from our tours in Iraq. My parents Jon and Linda flew out from Portland, Oregon, for the weekend...they were thrilled with the house and it's close proximity to everything there is to see in San Antonio. We did everything this weekend...The riverwalk and Alamo, Seaworld, Six Flags and Schlitterbahn. It was a wonderful relief to feel like we were returning "home" every night with worn-out feet and tired kids! The night we arrived we had a mini family "emergency" which required a printer, notary and Fed-Ex . There is a new full service Kinko's south of the house on Military drive which was very convenient and easy to find. Finally, thanks to Laralee and her husband for taking time out of their relaxing sunday to come let us in to the house after we locked ourselves out! Thank you for a wonderful weekend and your kind, personal service! Emily Schwenkler
The Hills - Portland, Oregon The Schwenklers - Killeen, Texas Laralee, Thank you! The house was very warm and inviting. We enjoyed our stay here. Thank you so much for everything. We will recommend your cute house to all of our friends back home! Thanks again!
Shawn & Michelle P.S.- We have a pink house too! Dear Laralee,
I'm so glad your house was available for our vacation! I put off finding accommodations until the day before we left and never dreamed that we would be staying in a three bedroom house! I will recommend your house to my family and friends back home and will give you a call on our next trip to San Antonio. Sincerely, Wendy Riley &
Family
Perfect get-away location for our two couples. House was easy to get to, pleasant, with large comfortable beds! And, in a great location for visiting different parts of San Antonio We spent a morning at the McNay Museum and recommend it highly! We went dancing in the bar of the Fairmont Hotel and it was the perfect atmosphere for us. Terrific directions, instructions with this house. Thanks for all your trouble.
The Kellys and Lamberts
Sugarland, Texas It was a great pleasure to stay in this lovely house, where the amenities have been arranged with such care. The setup was perfect for staying with our baby and we felt a sense of being home during our few days in San antonio. Thanks for all your helpfulness. The Thomas and Hilke Families
